We provide two courses, a DOOR SUPERVISOR course and the SECURITY GUARDING course. Each course is individually constructed to comply with the Governments requirements. The BTEC Level 2 Award in Security Guarding and BTEC Level 2 Award in Door Supervision details are listed below.
Door Supervisor
BTEC Level 2 Award in Door Supervision - 2 Parts
Part 1: Role and Responsibilities of a Door Supervisor
Overall aim: To insure that Door Supervisors have the knowledge and understanding of their role and responsibilities in the security industry environment.
Part 2: Communication Skills and Conflict Management
Overall aim: To ensure that Door Supervisors have the appropriate communication skills and knowledge of conflict management.
Security Guarding
BTEC Level 2 Award in Security Guarding - 2 Parts
Part 1: Knowledge based training and assessment
This section of the course covers the following topics:
- Role and responsibilities of Security Officers
- Customer care and social skills
- Fire safety
- Health and safety
- Dealing with incidents and emergencies
- The Law (civil and criminal)
- Procedures for the control of keys and equipment
- Assignment instructions
- Reporting
Part 2: Practical scenario based training and assessment
This section of the course covers the following topics:
- Communication skills
- Conflict management
